MOU workers will be legal workers, giving peace of mind to both employers and employees.
MOU workers will be legal workers and must work with the employer under a 2-year employment contract + (extendable for 2 years) totaling 4 years and can return and be re-imported.

Procedures for importing workers of each nationality
- Submit Demand to the Department of Lands / Area 15-30 days, depending on the Department of Employment
- Receive Demand back from the Department of Lands / Area, submit to the Myanmar Embassy in Thailand 10-15 days
- Have the Myanmar employment agency submit the Demand to Naypyidaw 3-4 weeks, the embassy will make an appointment to inspect the business (if any) / sign a guarantee to import workers within 9 days
- Sign contract in the country of origin, select workers + check for diseases + sign contracts / agencies make Name List 3-5 days
- Submit Name List to the embassy 1-2 days
- Submit to the employment agency in the area Name List + BT.31 (work permit) 7-10 days
- Department of Labor, Din Daeng, submit Name List and application form to cross the border to the Department of Labor, Din Daeng 15-30 Day
- Submit Name List to the embassy to receive a warrant to cross the border to bring workers in for 1-2 days
- Send to Naypyidaw Approved 2 weeks for receiving people at the border
- Workers make Smart cards in their home countries to cross the border
- Check for diseases, stamp Visa, receive E-Work Permit cards 1-2 days
- Receive workers at Mae Sot border / Ranong border / train workers
- Send workers to the business operator
- Report to the Immigration Bureau in the area within 24 hours

- Training / receiving workers at the checkpoint – receiving E-Work Permit cards
- Send workers to the business establishment and notify the Immigration Bureau in the area within 24 hours
- Notify the employment agency in the area within 15 days, submit documents / results of the medical examination / work permit

- Send Name List to the origin to prepare the coring visa 7-10 working days

- Train/receive workers at the checkpoint – receive E-Work Permit cards

- Bring Name List and application form (submit to the Department of Local Administration, Din Daeng 30 days of official time)
